About Us

Bridget Fabel grew up in the small town of Stillwater, New Jersey, where her love for the outdoors was sparked at an early age. An avid outdoors woman and passionate fly fisher, she spent her childhood exploring local streams and honing her fishing skills. At 20, she packed up and moved west to Utah, to chase her fly fishing dreams. Now, with over a decade of guiding experience, Bridget has built a reputation for putting her clients on chunky trout and creating unforgettable fishing experiences. Whether wading in pristine mountain streams or casting on remote lakes, she brings expert knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm to every trip. Bridget started Chunky Trout Outfitters in 2019 and offers the most authentic and unforgettable western fly fishing experiences around. Bridget is also proud to be the first female fly fishing outfitter service owner in the great state of Utah. 

Besides being a fly fishing guide, Bridget is very active on both YouTube and Instagram. She loves to share her life outdoors with everyone in hopes of inspiring more men and women to get outside!
