About Us

Bridget Fabel is an avid fly fisher and outdoors woman originally from the small town of Stillwater, New Jersey. She grew up loving the great outdoors and decided to move west by herself at the age of 20 to the beautiful state of Utah to chase her fly fishing dreams. She originally started fishing in the Paulinskill river across the street from the house she grew up in at the age of 4. Bridget has lived in Utah since 2014 and has been guiding for other outfitters for over 4 years. In 2019 Bridget decided to start her own guiding business, Chunky Trout Outfitters, in order to chase her dreams and pass her passion of fly fishing on to anglers from all over the world. Chunky Trout Outfitter's mission is to create a fun, inviting, and passionate environment for fly fishers of all skill levels. Here at CTO we want to pass our addiction of fly fishing on to people of all ages though our positive and welcoming environment. We assure you that having a young, energetic, and outgoing guide like Bridget will create the best fly fishing experience that you've ever had.
